This was my first time eating food from this restaurant and it was breakfast food that I ordered - french toast with scrambled eggs and hash browns. The food I ordered was awful! Granted, one could argue that I should not have purchased breakfast food from a pizza shop, but I thought to give it a shot; I won't do so again. I am not sure what the eggs were made of, but after three bits I couldn't eat them anymore. The hash browns were tater tots (disappointing), and the French toast was made of regular white sandwich bread (very disappointing) instead of a thick rye bread. I will try the restaurant again for lunch or dinner, but definitely not breakfast.

Food is OKAY. Service is AWFUL. Not even worth it to wait the three hours for their slow ass delivery. Go to Jiffy's near Andrews Airforce Base, and save yourself the annoyance, and get better food.

Avoid any dealings with this business!!! I ordered from Roma Pizza after receiving a brochure from my hotel in our welcome packet. It took almost an hour and a half for delivery. Then when it finally came, my daughter took a bite and spit it out- The kid will usually eat anything so that was my first clue that something was wrong. Then I actually looked at the pies. The tops were dry and partially burned. The bottom, when we flipped it over was doughy - almost uncooked. When I called to complain I was pushed through two people before getting a manager. He proceeded to tell me to be quiet, and he got even worse until I threatened to inform the hotel of his poor service. To make a longer story short, he wouldn't refund my credit card but he did send new pizzas after another hour (plus). They were just as burned as the first set. We threw them out. When I spoke to the concierge in the morning, I was told that the hotel has never dealt with that restaurant. That sometimes a place might sneak brochures in, but they would not be referred by any employee. GREAT!!! A little late. I'm out 30 dollars -but nice to know.

One day, Yelp is gonna allow half stars. Moving on...Roma is a 3.5 star place. My family orders from here fairly regularly. Pizza is good, wings are better & the salads are fresh and substantial (never had any issues with salad ingredients). I can't vouch for anything else. I mean, it's a pizza joint run by what looks to be people of Mediterranean decent; it's not run by people of Italian decent; therefore, I don't expect authentic Italian cuisine and I wouldn't venture too far out on the menu! For what we order & the delivery service we get (never had an issue with delivery), my family is satisfied.

I love this place. Best pizza around, get the XL thin crust. Not your typical thin crust. I also get the chicken cheese steaks which are also far above average.

It was pretty good. It came way before expected. It was hot. Stromboli was a little over baked, but full of ingredients. I'll order again.

I am staying at the Residence Inn in National Harbor. Roma Pizza sticks a menu under my door every day and I find it annoying. Tonight, I missed the closing time for the Baja Fresh, so I called up Roma. I wanted a medium Margherita, but they didn't know what that was Really? A pizza place that is unaware of the margherita? So I ordered their veggie special (vegilicious). They asked my room number so I told them. About 40 minutes later I get a phone call on my cell, telling me that my pizza was at the front desk. So, they are able to access my door to stick a menu under it, but can't bring me my pizza? Ugh. I get dressed enough to leave my room and head downstairs, but there is no pizza at the front desk. About twenty seconds later a seemingly drunk delivery driver comes in and says he has my pizza. I ask him to take my AMEX, but he says No, and says he only takes cash, so I give him $20 for my $16 pizza. Which was lukewarm and ... meh. So there you go about Roma Pizza. You can get a meh pizza for twice what it should cost and they won't bring it all the way to you. I think Erin F. may work for them.

This place is mediocre at best. Pizza is average. Sandwiches are meh, usually greasy with soggy fries. The eggplant parmigiana is flavorless. Stuffed mushrooms have a weird fishy taste. The one decent pizza they have is the shrimp one, which is really good though. The staff is not too bright & they screw up orders. One time I asked for a salad with no onion and they gave me one with onion and no tomato like a bunch of idiots. I only live a short distance away from this place, so I haven't had a lot of issues with delivery service. We don't have a lot of good choices for food delivery in Ft Washington, so we are stuck with places like this.

I'm done with this place!! We ordered a steak & cheese sub that was delivered with barely any cheese and none of the toppings we asked for. The meat tasted like dog food! My gyro had little to no lettuce and what little there was was old, the tomatoes were soft and clearly old, the meat was super dry and chewy. When I called to complain, i was put on hold for 10 minutes! Stay far away from this place.

We ordered a pizza from here to be delivered when visiting National Harbor. The pizza arrived about an hour later, and it was the wrong order. (Two people in my party do not like pepperoni, and cannot eat it because it makes them sick.) I called the place and asked for them to pick up the pizza and just refund us. Instead of complying after they made the mistake, not us...our receipt attached showed the right order, but the pizza in the box was wrong...I got nothing but MAJOR GRIEF from the guy on the phone. No idea who he was, but he first argued that it was beef pepperoni, not pork, which totally didn't make a difference to me. It was still pepperoni, but he wanted us to keep that pizza, anyway! When I told him no one here ate pepperoni, he then told me it was too late, they already put the right pizza in the oven and it would arrive in about 50 minutes. Problem was, I not only did not trust them, but we were hungry NOW and did not want to wait another hour for delivery. He then proceeded to tell me he could not possibly refund me unless I came down to the shop with my credit card. Well, I was at a hotel, visiting from out of state, and had no idea where this place was or how I would get there. But I did know it wasn't something I could walk to. I then told him, of course you can credit me. If you can run my credit card through over the phone to charge me for the pizza, you can run my credit card through over the phone to refund me. He said they were sending someone over to pick up the pizza immediately but would not be refunding me. The call ended with me telling him I was going to call the bank immediately to dispute the transaction. After I hung up, I called the bank. After sitting on hold forever, they came back and told me the jerk from the pizza place had already run through my credit card and refunded the transaction. All that arguing and the worst customer service I can ever remember from anyplace I have ever made a purchase, and now...this is what they get for their efforts. A horrible review. Honestly, I hope the guy gets fired. He does not deserve a job there or anywhere he has to deal with people. As for the pizza, they never did come to pick it up so we tossed it. They must be struggling financially if he pulls this kind of hissy fit over one stinking pizza.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
